My Name is William Moy and I am a photographer who enjoys wildlife, sport and portrait photography. I am currently studying photography for GCSE at Reepham high school. I am a Sergeant in the ATC, 1st DAN Black Belt in the martial art of Karate and recently I have become a Gold Intel partner.
I am open to shooting any type of event with confidence and have shot things like karate tournaments and have been to events such as Goodwood festival of speed where i have just been for the second time and am hoping to go next year. I have also shot photographs for my school and recently won a christmas photo competition for the entire school.
I enjoy photography as a hobby and i am very passionate about it. I try my hardest on a shoot and strive to get the best results. I wish to develop my photography into a professional career and have won things like photography competitions for my school and have done jobs for local companies.
For anyone wondering what gear i use here we are. I use a Canon 60D with a battery grip for my main camera which is great for stills and video work. The lenses i use for this are a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, 50mm f/1.8 and a Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6. I also use a number of accessories such as a Yongnuo YN460ii flash gun. For video i use a shotgun microphone and an lcd viewfinder for making sure the video is in focus more effectively as well as helping with stability. I also use a number of different tripods, monopods and a draw full of other bits and pieces.
If anyone cares what devices i use my main pc is a custom built gaming/workstation rig that includes an AMD FX 6300 cpu with a Coolermaster seidon watercooler. It also has 8GB of RAM and an R9 280x gpu. It has a 120GB ssd and two 1TB hard drives for storage and backups for any media. I also use a 13 inch macbook pro retina for a laptop and a few other mobile devices. Any other hardware like monitors further create a positive working environment and make for efficient process when working. For photo editing software i use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and am confident on how to use them fluently. For video editing i used to use premiere pro but recently i have moved to Sony Vegas which i find just as good and easier to use which makes editing faster and more productive.
I am a photographer for my squadron and you can see some of my other work in the link below and also check out my facebook page.
